Cholangiocarcinoma overview of clinical manifestations of bile duct cancer:
Obstructive jaundice were the main bile duct cancer symptoms , often accompanied by itching. About half of the patients in the upper abdomen accompanied by pain and fever, but is generally less severe. Small number of patients, there may be the performance of cholangitis, about half of the patients had loss of appetite and weight loss. Enlarged gallbladder or not, the site differs with cholangiocarcinoma. Swelling of the liver often can be palpable under the ribs or xiphoid, and its hard texture, tenderness not obvious, the latter may be splenomegaly and portal hypertension with ascites and other manifestations.
Treatment: 1. Surgical treatment of cholangiocarcinoma
(1) resectable hilar cholangiocarcinoma surgical method of choice:
hilar bile duct, common bile duct and cholecystectomy, biliary-enteric anastomosis. Is not real for the hepatic duct invasion of liver cancer.
side lobe of liver or liver plus part of the right anterior lobe bile duct, extrahepatic bile duct resection, biliary-enteric anastomosis. For convergence of hepatic duct cancer or cholangiocarcinoma.
liver side lobe or left hepatectomy and liver bile duct, extrahepatic bile duct resection, biliary-enteric anastomosis. For carcinoma of the left hepatic duct and liver Explorer.
liver lobe or right side hepatectomy and liver bile duct, extrahepatic bile duct resection, biliary-enteric anastomosis. Explorer for right hepatic duct and liver cancer.
san super semi-hepatectomy liver or liver bile duct, extrahepatic bile duct, part of the caudate lobe resection, biliary-enteric anastomosis. For left or right hepatic duct cancer invading the secondary hepatic duct above the hepatic duct and caudate lobe.
palliative resection. Side lobe of liver and hepatic bile duct, extrahepatic bile duct resection, biliary-enteric anastomosis, and the remaining part of the cancer organizations such as the caudate lobe anterior hepatic duct or portal vein.
